Kate Fullagar is a professor of history in the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Australian Catholic University. She is the author of award-winning The Warrior, the Voyager, and the Artist: Three Lives in an Age of Empire (New Haven, 2020), The Savage Visit: New World People and Popular Imperial Culture in Britain (Berkeley, 2012), and co-editor with M. A. McDonnell of Facing Empire: Indigenous Experiences in a Revolutionary Age (Baltimore, 2018). She is currently co-editor of the AHA's journal, History Australia (2019-2022), and Lead Chief Investigator of the ARC Project, Facing New Worlds (facingnewworlds.org).
