Kate researches in property law and legal education, with particular interest in legal issues affecting women, Indigenous Australians, and environmental justice. Her research engages also with the intersection of technology with law and regulation. Kate is co-author with Melissa Castan and John Flood of 'The Global Lawyer (LexisNexis 2020) and serves as the editor-in-chief of the Legal Education Review. She is a member of the Law Futures Centre at Griffith University, and is deputy chair of the Environmental Defender's Office.
