Kate Kloppers

In my position as Senior Science Engagement Officer for the Climate System Analysis Group (CSAG), with a background in Zoology, I hope to bring uniqueness to CSAG. My current interests include multi-disciplinary and integrative research that advances our knowledge of natural and human systems under conditions of environmental, climatic and social change. In the CSAG's Climate Services engagement team, I contribute to the dissemination of climate information for use in vulnerability, impacts and adaptation decision-making through consultancy activities, lecturing , training and report writing. I enjoy my involvement in running proactive capacity building activities, engaging with users and stakeholders around the current state of climate information, providing and interpreting climate data in an effort to bridge the challenges of science-society communication.
