Public health doctor and Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Fellow, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

I qualified as a doctor from Imperial College London and worked in London hospitals before deciding to specialise in population medicine - or public health. I did a variety of public health posts in the UK before returning to academia. I'm currently doing a PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, researching the cost-effectiveness of incentives to retain health workers in sub-Saharan Africa.
