Katelyn Esmonde

Postdoctoral Fellow, Johns Hopkins University

I have both a master's degree and a PhD in kinesiology, where my research focus has been on sociocultural influences on physical activity and sport. As a doctoral student and now a Hecht-Levi Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics, I focus on the ethics of physical activity promotion as well as the ethics of digital surveillance (for both lifestyle interventions and to prevent the spread of infectious disease).
