Katherine Haenschen

Dr. Haenschen's research explores the intersection of digital media and political participation. She primarily conducts experiments to determine how different aspects of digital communication change behaviors and attitudes. Her research has been published in the Journal of Communication, Political Communication, and Social Science Computer Review. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech, and was previously a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton's Center for Information Technology Policy.
