Keith Baker is a co-founder of the Energy Poverty Research initiative (a spin-out from the BEAM Centre); a member of the Energy Working Group within the Scottish ‘think and do’ tank, Common Weal. His research interests include energy policy, carbon management; energy efficiency and renewable energy in the built environment; sustainable urban environments; renewable and low carbon energy policy; and fuel poverty.

He is co-editor of The Palgrave Handbook of Managing Fossil Fuels and Energy Transitions (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019); and A Critical Review of Scottish Renewable and Low Carbon Energy Policy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017).
