Kesi Mahendran is a social and political psychologist who investigates migration-mobility, non-mobility, belonging, integration and citizenship in the European Union context. A specialist in dialogue, her research aims to contribute to the dialogue between citizens and governments on vexed political questions where citizens are unlikely to arrive at a consensus.

She is co-editor of the book 'Discursive Governance in Politics, Policy and the Public Sphere' 2015 (Palgrave Macmillan).

A chartered psychologist Kesi Mahendran is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Member of the Political Studies Association & Convenor of PSA Comparative European Politics Specialist Group. She is also a member of the International Society of Political Psychologists
