Professor of Strategy, Durham University

Kevin is a Professor of Strategy at Durham University Business School and formerly a British Academy Mid-Career Fellow (2015-16). Prior to that he was Head of the Strategy and International Business Group at Warwick Business School. Kevin specializes in understanding Public Sector Organizations. His work pursues a central strategic question in public administration: how can public servants, leaders, and administrations enhance the public good?

He has authored or co-authored four books, including a monograph that applies the four texts in Aristotle's practical philosophy (the Politics, Ethics, Rhetoric and Poetics) to contemporary problems in organizations and society.

Kevin has published over 40 articles in leading peer reviewed journals including Accounting Organizations and Society, the Academy of Management Learning & Education (runner up best paper of 2016), Journal of Management Studies, Public Administration Review, Human Relations and Public Administration. Kevin also serves on the editorial board of the British Journal of Management.
