Kevin Stagg teaches economic history in the business school at Cardiff University. His lecturing career at Cardiff started on 11 September 2001! He is currently mainly interested in the impact of products on global economic development (coffee, tea, sugar, cotton etc); the great divergence between east and west and issues of historiography. His students seem to be most engaged though with Africa and become unusually passionate and talkative (and well-informed) in these seminars.
