Kimberly Hillier

Dr. Kimberly Hillier, Ph.D., OCT is a Language Arts lecturer in the University of Windsor's Faculty of Education and is an elementary school teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in both Ontario and Alberta. She has published in the Journal of Family Issues (2021); Intersectionalities: A Global Journal of Social Work Analysis, Research, Polity, and Practice (2021); Journal of Teaching and Learning (2021); Journal of Mother Studies (2021); and Journal of Motherhood Initiative for Research and Community Involvement (2020, 2019). Current research interests include trauma and trauma-informed pedagogy, sociocultural intersections of gender and gender relations in a variety of contexts, and evidence-based literacy instruction.
