Kimberly Hillier

Kimberly Hillier, PhD, OCT is a Language instructor in the University of Windsor's Faculty of Education and an Elementary Literacy Support Teacher with WECDSB. She has a passion for supporting educators, students, and families in their literacy journeys. Sharing equitable and practical ways for families to engage in literacy is the primary focus of her articles with The Conversation. Her multidisciplinary research has been published in the Journal of Family Issues (2021); Intersectionalities: A Global Journal of Social Work Analysis, Research, Polity, and Practice (2021); Journal of Teaching and Learning (2021); Journal of Mother Studies (2021); and Journal of Motherhood Initiative for Research and Community Involvement (2019; 2020).
