Kolisa Yola Sinyanya

PhD Candidate, University of Cape Town

In my MSc I majored in Molecular Systematics, studying the leguminous plant molecular symbiosis with bacteria. In my PhD, I explore the marine domain where I use nitrogen isotopes to understand the microbial communities and microbe nutrient interactions in the Indian Subantarctic Ocean system. I run the Women In Science Hub. A blog where I interview game changer women from all walks of life in the ever-changing world of STEM.
