Konrad Grabiszewski

Associate Professor of Economics, HEC Paris Business School

Dr. Konrad Grabiszewski is an associate professor of economics at HEC Paris in Qatar, which he joined in 2022. Previously, he was a faculty member at ITAM in Mexico, the University of Miami in the USA, and MBSC in Saudi Arabia. He also was a visiting faculty member at Keio University in Japan and KAUST in Saudi Arabia.

In his research, Konrad focuses on understanding how people make decisions in various contexts. He is an expert in game theory, decision theory, and behavioral economics. He also has tackled questions related to espionage, terrorism, and government regulations. To leverage the global prevalence of mobile devices, Konrad co-creates mobile games whose objective is to offer fun for the users and collect data for scientific research. His research was published in, among others, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and Journal of Conflict Resolution.

Konrad holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, an MSc in Mathematics from the Courant Institute at New York University, and a PhD in Economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
