Kristin S. Hendrix

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Indiana University

Dr. Hendrix is a translational researcher with a PhD in social psychology. She completed an NRSA fellowship in pediatric health services research in the Department of Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Hendrix lends a unique perspective to pediatric health services research by bridging it with social behavioral sciences. She researches how parents make decisions concerning vaccination for themselves and their children, with the goal of developing electronic decision aids to help inform parents' vaccine decisions. She received a K01 Career Development Award from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH) to support her research.
