Lachlan Warner completed an MFA at Rutgers University and a PhD at Sydney College of the Arts in 2017. He has been awarded the Blake Prize, the Campbelltown Contemporary Art Prize, The Burwood Prize and was a finalist in the National Sculpture Award at the National Gallery of Australia. He has exhibited widely in Australia, Thailand, the United States, Japan and the Netherlands. Over the last 20 years his artwork has mostly been inspired in Buddhist ideas, particularly ‘Dukkha’ (suffering ).
He teaches in visual art at the Australian Catholic University's Strathfield campus.
