Lara Cornejo

Postdoctoral Fellow, School for Resource and Environmental Studies, Dalhousie University

Biologist engaged in interdisciplinary research of social-ecological systems, with a focus on ecosystem services assessments in spatially restricted and threatened natural habitats, from riparian to coastal, from arid lands to wetlands. Interested in participatory methods for sustainability practices and knowledge co-production. Additional to her academic work, Lara leads a project of ex-situ conservation of threatened plant species, participates in environmental justice projects, and is part of an international initiative that highlights the work of women in conservation in Latin America.
