Laras Susanti works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She is also a researcher at the Law, Gender, and Society Research Studies under the said Faculty. She holds a master's degree at law from the School of Law, University of Washington. Currently, she is doing an SJD at University of Pittsburgh, Law School with a scholarship from Fulbright and the Center of International Legal Studies (CILE).
