Lecturer in English Literature, University of Oxford

I have a BA in English Literature from Durham, MA in Medieval Literature from Leeds, and DPhil from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, in Middle English Literature (awarded 2007). I am the Lecturer in Old and Middle English Literature at University College, Oxford. My first book, 'The Church as Sacred Space in Middle English Literature and Culture', will be published in 2018 by Manchester University Press. I am an expert in the life and works of the twentieth century author Daphne du Maurier (and du Maurier is the subject of my next book).
