Lauren A. Keating

Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Psychology, EM Lyon Business School

Lauren Keating is an Assistant Professor at Emlyon Business School in France who specialises in organisational behaviour and psychology. She is also a member of the centre for Behavioural Research in Organisations at Emlyon. Lauren is particularly interested in researching cognition (namely lay theories), motivation, leadership and career development, emotions and stress, as well as expertise. She has published her research in a range of journals, including the Journal of Management, The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Employment Counseling, and Human Resource Management Review. Her work has also appeared in Harvard Business Review, the Welcome to the New Normal podcast, and will be featured in the upcoming January issue of Breathe magazine (UK). Prior to Emlyon, Lauren received her Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, and has worked in the education, construction, and medical sectors.
