Laurence Wainwright

Departmental Lecturer and Course Director, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford

Dr Laurence Wainwright is an interdisciplinary academic at the University of Oxford. Laurence is a Departmental Lecturer and Course Director of the MSc Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment in the School of Geography and the Environment; a Patient Public Involvement Facilitator and Researcher in the Department of Psychiatry; and an Centre Early Career Research Fellow in the Saïd Business School.

A teaching and learning oriented academic, Laurence has a decade of experience in lecturing, facilitation and supervision across universities in Australia, Sweden and the United States and United Kingdom. Laurence's research interests are multidisciplinary and diverse and include sustainability and corporate social responsibility, management and leadership, and precision psychiatry.

Laurence completed his doctoral studies in Business Administration at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and University of California Berkeley. Laurence also holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University, a Master of Education from the Queensland University of Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning, Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business (Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney.

Laurence has several pets, including a chameleon, tortoise, turtle, and several salamanders and frogs.
