Laurie Decarpentrie

I am a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal. My research interest focus on human development in extreme contexts, in an international perspective. In the context of research and training support, I collaborate with organizations that work to promote the development and social cohesion of young people from marginalized groups in different region of Africa. My current research focuses on the effects of extracurricular activities, such as music, art and sport, on the well-being of vulnerable young people developing in extreme contexts.
