Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris Dauphine (PSL), Louisiana Teixeira is a specialist in International Economics and Development. Her Ph.D thesis focused on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Trade Liberalization in Brazil, considering the macroeconomic reforms of the 1990s and special trade regimes (free trade zones). Having evolved over the past years as a researcher and professor at the French Research Institute for Sustainable Development and the University of Paris Dauphine (UMR DIAL and CEPED), her research focuses on international trade, emerging and developing countries, poverty and inequalities, gender, labor market, multidimensional indicators of well-being and sustainable development.
