Research Associate of Zoology and Entomology, Rhodes University

Dr Louw Claassens is a post-doctoral fellow with WorldFish based in Timor-Leste. Her current focus is on small-scale fisheries ecology. She completed her PhD in marine science in 2017, through Rhodes University, and remains a research associate of the university. Louw is also a member of the IUCN SSC Seahorse, Pipefish and Seadragon Specialist Group and the IUCN SSC Species Monitoring Specialist Group.
