Dr. Rodina holds a PhD from the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (the University of British Columbia). She is a former Liu Scholar at the Liu Institute for Global Issues and International WaTERS Fellow. Lucy's doctoral research investigated themes in resilience thinking as they apply to urban water governance, with specific attention to water-related risks in Cape Town, South Africa. Currently, Lucy Rodina works as a Policy Analyst with the government of Canada.

Research interests include urban water governance, human right to water, resilience, urban political ecology, social justice and environmental ethics.
