I am a lecturer at Aberystwyth University, working on eighteenth and nineteenth-century literature. My current research delves into the representation of disability in nineteenth-century texts. My expertise spans the Romantic era, gender studies, and Surveillance Studies, with a particular interest in tracing the evolution of societal oversight from 1780 to 1830 and its implications today.
You can find more of my work in my recent book, “Gender, Surveillance, and Literature in the Romantic Period”, published by Routledge in 2022.
