Luke Hartigan received his PhD in Economics from The University of New South Wales in 2017.

His research interests relate to macro-econometrics, focusing on methods useful for the empirical analysis of business cycles and summarising and nowcasting economic and financial conditions.

Prior to joining the School of Economics, Luke was an economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
