Madelien Wooding

Chromatographic Officer and Researcher, Department of Chemistry & University of Pretoria Institute for Sustainable Malaria Control, University of Pretoria

Research interests: Specialising in separation sciences and mass spectrometry techniques. Using non-invasive samplers to isolate chemicals from complex matrices including water, the human skin surface, and food. Investigating skin volatiles to help prevent the spread of malaria in affiliation with the UP Institute for Sustainable Malaria Control (UP ISMC)). Passionate about promoting science to young scientists. Involved in science learning and knowledge transfer.
