I work as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona). I received my PhD in Economics from University of Santiago de Compostela. Before joining UIC Barcelona, I worked during three years as an Economist in the Directorate for Employment, Labor and Social Affairs at the OECD. I have been also a visiting scholar at the Department of Population Health Sciences at University of Wisconsin-Madison and a visiting student at Utrecht University School of Economics. My research interests are in the areas of health economics, labor economics, economics of aging, human capital development and applied microeconometrics.
