Margot Kushel, MD is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and the Director of UCSF's Center for Vulnerable Populations. (@ucsfcvp) Margot's research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of homelessness and evaluating interventions designed to prevent and end homelessness. She has a particular interest in the growing numbers of older adults who are homeless. She is the Principal Investigator of the HOPE HOME study, a large ongoing cohort study of older homeless adults in Oakland, California.
