Maria Jose Baeza Robba

Post-doctoral Fellow and Adjunct Professor of Nursing, University of Michigan

María José Baeza Robba is an Impact Scholar with the University of Michigan's Center for Global Health Equity. Her global work focuses on promoting help-seeking behaviors and access to health care for women who have experienced intimate partner violence.

Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women and communities and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Robba’s primary focus is on immigrant and vulnerable women in different regions of the world and her work at the Center will explore barriers related to help-seeking that sub-Saharan African university students experience when they encounter intimate partner violence.

Robba also is an adjunct instructor of nursing at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile while she conducts her postdoctoral fellowship.
