B.A. in Philosophy and Education Studies, a B.A. in Psychology and a PhD in Pedagogy by the University of Barcelona, Full Professor in the Department of Theory and History of Education of the Faculty of Education. Lead Researcher of the GREM (Research Group on Moral Education)- University of Barcelona. Spain. Active member of the Executive Board of the AME (Association for Moral Education). From 1994 to 2004: Responsible for the Teachers Training Program of Primary and Secondary Education, Coordinator of the Teacher Training program in Citizenship and moral education with the OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture). Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Moral Education until 2012. Member of the Editorial Board of a collection of books in English: Moral Development and Citizenship Education, SensePublishers. Partner of Erasmus Intensive Program (2016-2020) with 7 universities from different countries. (The Netherlands, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, England,) Some unipersonal management positions at the university: Director of Department, Delegate of the Rector for Master and doctorate, Head of Research at the Institute of Education Sciences (IDP-ICE) at the University of Barcelona, and until 2021 Director of this Institute and Director of the Citizenship and Values Observatory of the Government of Catalonia.
