I am an economist by training with an MSc in Development from the National University of Colombia and an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics. During my career, I have focused on bringing forward knowledge-based strategies to foster urban development by working with local, national and international institutions such as the UN. As a researcher of urban sustainable development, I have supported with evidence local governments and public institutions in decision-making processes in Latin America, the Caribbean and China. My PhD research -at the Bartlett Development Planning Unit- focuses on mobility in two and three-wheelers in the context of mass public transport reforms, through a critical southern lens.
