Dr Marietjie Theron-Wepener fields of expertise include strategic marketing and branding, corporate reputation, marketing management, corporate identity, brand positioning, corporate communication and stakeholder relationship management. She has held senior full-time positions in large and medium-sized organisations in various industries, including media, agriculture, advertising and tertiary education, and has been involved part-time in consulting, research and lecturing in the tourism, wine, agricultural, legal and (tertiary) business education sectors. She has lectured at USB, USB-ED, Bond University, Aix en Province Business School and in-house for companies since 2000. She has been involved in research projects, both with USB MBA students as well as contract research in her private capacity, for large and medium-sized organisations since 2000. Her practical experience is underpinned by a PhD in Business Management and Administration in the field of Marketing and Corporate Reputation.
