Mark Campbell

Mark works in Oxford as an Infectious Diseases and Microbiology doctor and Clinical Research Fellow in Population Health.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has worked in NHS hospitals and joined the University of Oxford's RECOVERY (Randomised Evaluation of COVID-19 Therapy) trial team. This clinical trial has helped provide four life-saving treatments for patients with COVID-19.

He is now studying for a DPhil in Population Health, with his research focusing on the detailed clinical effects and biological mechanisms of RECOVERY COVID-19 treatments that work by targeting peoples' immune systems.
