Medical Sciences PhD Candidate, McMaster University

I'm currently working in the Farncombe Family Digestive Health Research Institute at McMaster University for a PhD in medical sciences, investigating how fibre fermentation can promote mucosal healing in a mouse model of gluten-sensitivity, and whether fibre consumption and metabolism is altered in celiac disease.
I write pieces for Gut Microbiota for Health, participate in the education committee for the society for the study of celiac disease, and coordinate trainee programs within the Farncombe Institute.
