Dr. Markus Moos is a Registered Professional Planner and Associate Professor in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Moos’ research is on changing housing markets, demography, generational change, millennials, and the economy and social structure of cities. He has recently been credited for developing “youthification” as a new concept to explain inner city change. Dr. Moos is widely published and his research has been featured in the media including the CBC’s Lang & O’Leary Exchange, CTV News, The Globe & Mail, Atlantic Cities Magazine, CityLab, Spacing Magazine, Business Insider, and UK’s Daily Mail.
