Marta Ndakalako Alumbungu

Marta Ndakalako Alumbungu serves as both the head of department and an English teacher at a primary school in Namibia. She earned her highest qualification, a Master of Education in English language teaching, from Rhodes University in South Africa. Her research interests centre on exploring linguistically and culturally relevant pedagogies in English as a Second Language (ESL), specifically focusing on reading literacy and comprehension. This research targets experienced multilingual primary educators. Currently, Marta is furthering her studies as a PhD student at Stellenbosch University in the Department of Curriculum Studies within the Faculty of Education.
