Martin Clarke

Martin Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in Music at The Open University. He is the author of British Methodist Hymnody: Theology, Heritage, and Experience (Routledge, 2017) and numerous book chapters and articles on aspects of the relationships between music, theology and religious practice. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. He was educated at Durham University (BA, PhD). A proud Welshman, he is a long-suffering supporter of Glamorgan Cricket.
