Senior Lecturer School of Journalism, Media and Culture, Cardiff University

I am a senior lecturer in journalism at the School of Journalism, Media and Culture at Cardiff University, where I teach undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have a wide range of experience in the media, including many years in TV and digital news.

I am very interested in digital political communication and I am writing a PhD on how politicians use digital media and the impact it is having on political journalism.

My main research focus is looking at how politicians use digital media to communicate directly with voters and the impact this has on political journalism. This is the subject of my doctoral research.
