Co-Founder of the HaliFIX Overdose Prevention Society which has implemented Atlantic Canada's first Overdose Prevention Site.

Currently involved with multiple research projects including The COAST Study as an RA, Swimming Against the Current: Looking at Mental Health in the Fishing Industry at Dal's School of Social Work as a RA & Co-Investigator with a project through SMU's Criminology department.

Have received Consultant funding from Abbvie & Gilead.
