Matthew Fuller-Tyszkiewicz

Matthew Fuller-Tyszkiewicz is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at Deakin University, Melbourne, Victoria. His research leverages cutting-edge technologies to enhance allocation, delivery, and client use of established treatments for common and costly public health issues. He uses smartphone app-based technology to: (1) identify individual- and environmental-level determinants of mental and physical health, and then (2) deliver intervention content that directly targets these antecedents to poor mental health and lifestyle behaviours. More recently, his work has incorporated social media as a platform for reaching individuals who may want to know more about causes, symptoms, and treatment of mental illnesses.
