Matthew Shanks

Matt is a Taungurung man with a background in Cultural Land Management and Cultural Heritage Management. Matt is the Director of Cultural Land Management at Taungurung Land and Waters Council and currently a Councilor on the Biodiversity Council.
His key fields of interest is achieving Healthy Country by applying strategic, biocultural and Indigenist approaches for overcoming challenges and systemic barriers.
