Meike Katharina Heuck

Meike Katharina Heuck is a PhD candidate at the University of Southern Queensland and is passionate about food security in times of climate change. Her main focus is on the interaction between arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and plants to enable sustainable agriculture. She has wide experience in ecosystem processes, biodiversity, and plant ecology. Having previously worked as an Environmental Project Engineer, she knows the arguments and viewpoints of both worlds - academic and industrial.
