Ph.D. Student in Psychology, Indiana University

Originally from Houston, TX, I graduated from UCLA in 2017 and started the Clinical Psychology doctoral program in 2019. I'm funded through the Diversity Fellowship (2019-2020) and I'm also a research assistant for the Grand Challenges Long Term Recovery Project.

Broadly, my research interest focuses on addressing disparities in substance use behavior and treatment among underserved populations. Specifically, I am interested in 1) exploring how drug accessibility is moderated by racial and socioeconomic factors and 2) optimizing intervention outcomes for minority populations.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, escape rooms, and watching all of Netflix's food-related content.
