Post Doctoral Researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL

Micah Allen is a cognitive neuroscientist working at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging (WTCN) at University College London. Before moving to London, Micah earned his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at Aarhus University in Denmark, where he investigated the impact of mental training on cognitive and affective neuroplasticity. Today, Micah’s research program reflects his unique interdisciplinary training in experimental psychology, philosophy, and cognitive science. As a senior postdoc in the UCL Awareness Lab, he applies the latest in computational modelling, network neuroscience, and decision theory to understand how the body shapes conscious awareness, metacognition, and more.
