Principal Scientist and Associate Professor, CGIAR System Organization

Michael Hauser is an agro-ecologist and food systems researcher. His research focuses on food system transformations in areas affected by climate change, fragilities and conflict. Michael is a Principal Scientist at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics based in Kenya. As Associate Professor, Michael teaches postgraduate courses and supervises students at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna.
