Michael Reinwald

I am a postdoctoral research assistant working in the Animal Vibration Lab under the supervision of Dr. Beth Mortimer.

From spiders to elephants, we aim to understand surface vibration sensing in animals and apply these insights to engineering.

We also work on real-time, non-invasive monitoring (i.e., detection, localisation, and behavioural categorisation) of terrestrial wildlife using seismic recordings.
