Michael Webb is a historical ethnomusicologist (PhD, Wesleyan) and music educationist. From 2012-2016 he served as Chair of Music Education at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He is a co-author of the book, Music in Pacific Island Cultures (OUP 2011) and his articles have appeared in leading journals in the fields of ethnomusicology, music education and Pacific history and culture.
