Michael Yekple is a doctoral candidate of Security Studies at the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida. Michael's research focuses on the use of drones in civilian protection in armed conflict looking at cases in different peacekeeping contexts ranging from DR Congo, Mali and Central African Republic. He previously worked as research intern at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Center, Accra, Ghana and and as a research associate at the the Legon Center for international Affairs and Diplomacy, Ghana. He holds MA in International Affairs from the University of Ghana.
