Dr Mihiri Silva completed a Bachelor of Dental Science (HONS) in 2004, Master of Dental Science in 2012, Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) in 2013 and PhD in 2019, all at the University of Melbourne. Mihiri works as a Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne and a specialist paediatric dentist at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. Mihiri leads the Division of Population Health, Cariology and Oral Health at the Melbourne Dental School. Her research aims to better understand the early life risk factors for common dental conditions like tooth decay and enamel defects.
